THE GOLD COAST THEATRE ALLIANCE 2010 PROGRAM LAUNCH
Friday 27th November 2010 Launch was a great success and gave the annual member company’s a chance to launch their shows for next year!
Special Guest - NANCYE HAYES, OAM opened the proceedings . Performances were given by member groups and Joel Beskin was made a Life Member.
On Saturday workshops were run and this was a chance for local performers and directors to engage in theatre craft activities.

Mr Big of Gold Coast Theatre answers some questions!!!
We have been lucky enough for the last few years to have Gold Coast community
theatre featured weekly in chat spots on local ABC Radio.
During the Summer season, ABC scheduling mainly goes 'National'. However,
through the good graces of local Presenter, Scott Mayman, we have been fortunate
enough to have our theatre news and views transferred to his Sunday Morning
Breakfast session on ABC 9l.7FM.
If you have missed the show - for instance I didn't know prior to this that
there was an 8am on a Sunday! - then you might like to tune in online to Scott's
ABC Blog site. There, you will find three interviews and extracts from the last
three shows.
