AUDITIONS 2010

 ‘The Mellow Fellow’s Final Act’

7.45 pm 2nd August at the ZAMIA’ on Mount Tamborine

 

 The play concerns an Australian world renowned trumpeter in an Asian prison on a drug charge.  It has six jazz numbers in the script that have already been recorded for the play

The script requires 6 actors, three female and three male. The play is a drama.  All the parts are good each with the opportunity to move the audience.

The play is scheduled to be performed over the first three weekends of November at the Zamia. After the first three weeks of one night per week, the rehearsals are scheduled for two evenings a week   The nights will be discussed with the cast but we have to work to the availability of the Zamia.  For detailed information on the play and the characters required please ring or email

Roald Dahl’s much-loved story follows the vain attempts of three farmers, Boggis, Bunce and Bean, one fat, one short, one lean, to get rid of the fox who regularly steals food from their farms. They try to kill him by any means possible. Outwitted at every turn, the farmer’s ploys backfire.
FANTASTIC MR FOX devises a plan which will ensure full stomachs for not only his family, but all his friends, who celebrate with a sumptuous feast.
