“Broadbeach audiences have become fanatical with these concerts since we first introduced them to the phenomenon of Popera three years ago. Since then, Broadbeach Alliance have invited Popera Classics Collection to perform several different and contrasting productions for Opera in the Park and are now once again presenting another first and exclusive when Popera Grande Montage takes to the stage at Broadbeach with a grand Popera concert and the Collection’s largest concert to date produced especially for Broadbeach Alliance and Opera in the Park” says show co-producer, Gregory Brown.

Something for absolutely everyone”, he says.


Popera Grande Montage includes; the finest classical moments such as Libiamo nel Caliti, O Sole Mio, Sempre Libera and Nessun Dorma to the best of Musical Theatre with tunes from Jesus Christ Superstar, The Lion King, Wicked, Mamma Mia, The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables to more contemporary Popera hits including A Mi Manera (My Way), I Believe in You, Il Mio Cuore Va (My Heart Will Go On), This is the Moment and You Raise Me Up.

Popera Classics Collection is produced to create an ideal way to introduce listeners to opera and the beauty of vocal music, giving popular classical music a modern edge and pop music a classical approach in a fresh, exciting and contemporary production

Opera in the Park is a FREE community event. Patrons are encouraged to bring a picnic and rug. Conrad Jupiters will also be catering with a selection of scrumptious cuisine. Be early to secure a good spot!
