Spotlight Theatrical Company is once again producing a world of family entertainment these holidays.

From Writer Director Kate Tardy, the original pantomime Mr Cellinis Secret tells the story of a poor toymaker who discovers that his dolls, when painted with a potion he has concocted from some strange magical powder he had found, look so real he suddenly begins to sell every one he makes. When he learns that the dolls actually come alive from midnight to three am, he comes up with a devious plan to sell them only to the wealthiest townspeople and very late at night he visits their homes and his dolls hand over to him the family treasures. The reject dolls, Mr. Cellini's failures, decide to do something about it and band together in an effort to bring him to justice and expose his secret. Jack, Floppy, Cabage and Zero...the reject dolls, come up with a plan that makes for a wonderfully entertaining romp with hilarious results.

With an array of fabulous characters, the strong cast, features students from Spotlight’s own youth theatre, Co-Director and Choreographer Ashley Tardy as Floppy who is always coming apart, Michael Thomas, as officer O'Rielly, Jes Shepard as Cabbage who just wants to be loved, newcomer Kieton Bielby as Jack, the leader of the little group, Jack Woods as Zero the original super hero gone wrong and Isaac Moody as the evil and greedy Mr. Cellini, if he has a softer side we have yet to see it and Sybil, the doll with multiple personalities is played by the very funny Kate Burnham.

Mr. Cellini finally sends her over the edge by throwing her into the reject box where she finally finds herself and new friends.

This fantastic piece of entertainment is chock full of singing, dancing, great costumes and lots of audience participation which makes it a fun show for all the family.
