We are pleased to report that, at last, things are moving on with the Zamia Theatre, now that the tenders for the restoration are closed. Notwithstanding any hiccups, the builders should be commencing very soon, then, all being well, the Tamborine Mountain Little Theatre will be back in business by the middle of 2009.

As those of you who have been following our progress will be aware, we have not been allowing the darkness of the Zamia to hold up productions, and, despite the lack of any real alternative venue, we have managed to put on some plays during this difficult time.

Looking to the future we are hoping to have a grand opening production, which will provide an opportunity for actors and musicians, old and new, from around the mountain to demonstrate their talent.
