The play is directed for Tugun Theatre Company by Nathan Schulz
Weird playwright Sebastian Sly, author of such all time bombs as “Dial M for
Morose”, “The Cat and Canard”, and “Three Little Ninjas”; invites you to
join the clever but snide drama critic Sylvia Frye and two innocent cousins
Lilac Copper and Zip Whittle at his the creepy old mansion called “The
Shadows” for the reading of Sebastian’s will at the traditional creepy time
of midnight.
This is a very wacky fast moving wild mystery spoof as you are introduced to
the characters that are a mixture of the strange and innocent. You’ll meet
the murderous Creeper; Velma Cringe, an old actress noted for her shattering
screams; a butler named Skull and a housekeeper named Bones, and that’s just
the beginning as our three guest/victims are terrorized by insane goings-on
as the staff try to convince Sylvia Frye that she is wrong about Sebastian’s
work.
Mystery and humour are all rolled into one in this play, with a major twist
that will leave you gasping in surprise. If you like fast moving
entertaining mysteries, you cannot miss this one. It is so well worth
seeing.
