THE CATWIFE & OTHER CREEPY STORIES

by Arch Oboler

SYNOPSIS: One of the best of the early radio shows devoted to giving listeners the creeps was Lights Out and this

truly bizarre tale, by Arch Oboler, is a story of a husband whose marriage is so catastrophic, he somehow transforms her into a yowling, scratching feline. This story was voted as "the best" by listeners in 1938, and an appropriate choice for Halloween.

In an effort to spur them on he stages the murder of the actresses, after which the plot begins to twist and turn with dazzling ingenuity and hilarity.
