JUKEBOX -Featuring the magic of the swinging sixties

Devised, written and directed by Bruce Bodsworth


SYNOPSIS:

Set in a present-day cafe replicated as a milk bar from the 1960s, the owner, Joe (a “rocker” all his life) has decorated his business with decor of the era to attract patrons with similar tastes. Each Saturday night, his “regulars” gather ‘round the Jukebox, singing the songs and enjoying their milkshakes, banana splits and spiders. “Jukebox” is a fun night out for the entire family.

ARMED N DANGEROUS

SYNOPSIS: When Ray Crandell is chief steward on board a pleasure ship, he masterminds a robbery and retains most of the proceeds to share at a later date but he betrays his companions and marries Hazel and becomes manager of her father’s motel. Others come looking for revenge and so when he is murdered, Sergeant Hope has many avenues to investigate.

HANSEL & GRETEL

SYNOPSIS: Life has been hard for Joseph and his family after a famine hits. His wife Gertrude wants to get rid of her stepchildren, Hansel and Gretel, so that she won’t have to share what little food they have left. She takes them into the forest and leaves them there to die, but they are befriended by Oscar, a wise old owl and the forest elves, who keep them safe throughout the night.
