During Volunteer Week in May, the Gold Coast Theatre Alliance recognized volunteers from various theatres who were nominated for the Distinguished Service Award, The Eagle Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Performing Arts by an individual under 25 years old, as well as The Red Hat award for outstanding contributions to the arts. The breakfast event took place at the Waterside Venue at Currumbin RSL, with Guest Laura Gerber MP attending. The aim of the event was to pay tribute to these unsung heroes of the Performing Arts, who selflessly dedicate their specialized skills for countless hours to benefit the Gold Coast and surrounding regional community arts sector.

Here is a group photo of these exceptional individuals who were acknowledged and nominated by their peers, making these awards truly remarkable and distinctive within our industry.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Alliance website! Now onto whats going on in the creative arts scene, this time starting across the border in the NORTHERN BEACHES NSW & TWEED HEADS area!
