Ballina Players.

Be sure to secure your tickets for this week of performances of 'Jack the Ripper'  If you have, that's fantastic! If not, don't worry - you can purchase them now here . This show offers a surprising twist, blending seriousness with humor as it portrays townspeople sharing laughter, jokes, and even dressing up in women's clothing together. Curious? You'll have to see it for yourself.

Following 'Jack the Ripper,' don't miss Ballina Players hosting Kate Peters Red Hat Production touring show of 'Piccadilly Olde Time Music Hall.' Join Ballina Players for a night or afternoon revisiting tunes from the Olde Time Music Hall shows of London. These songs have roots in taproom concerts held in English city taverns during the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as during WW1. Come for a good laugh and enjoy the melodious voices of the performers, in four shows over three days from September 13-15.

Tugun Theatre

Located on the Gold Coast's southern side, Tugun Theatre is excited to announce the cast of "The 39 Steps" for their final show of 2024! Tickets will be available from October 14th, and the show will run from November 14th to 30th. The talented ensemble is currently in rehearsals, preparing to bring a mix of comedy, mystery, and drama to the stage, promising a unique twist to this classic story.

Under the direction of Rianna Hartney Smith, who directed Girls Night Out, her rendition of "The 39 Steps" promises to end Tugun's 2024 season with a bang. The creative team is busy rehearsing, with many laughs being had during rehearsals.

Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra

Located in the central area of the Gold Coast in Ashmore, the Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra Management Committee warmly invites both new and former performer members to join us for our 40th Anniversary Concert on October 26, 2024. Led by Camillio Manricks, the group will feature a special performance by Guest Artist Mark Turpin. Rehearsals are scheduled for Thursdays at The Gold Coast Youth Orchestra Building, located at 7 Community Drive, Ashmore.

Gold Coast Youth Orchestra


Still in Ashmore, the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra have arrived at that time of year again – Audition applications for the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra are now open!

Gold Coast City Choir

If you're in the Southport area, the Gold Coast City Choir is performing at the Southport Uniting Church this Sunday, 8th September. They are singing songs from movies and more popular songs from modern-day artists.

Gold Coast Little Theatre

continues its season this week of “LORD OF THE FLIES”, reimagined by Joshua McCann-Thomson. Experience William Golding’s masterpiece with an all-female cast, showcasing their talents in this unique adaptation.
