Did you know many Gold Coast theatres & choirs are sustained entirely by volunteers who share your enthusiasm for the creative arts and aim to entertain audiences.
While performers take the spotlight, it's the dedicated team of volunteers – both on and off the stage – who make each show a triumph and have helped the Gold Coast Theatre & creative arts scene become what it is today.
Consider volunteering at your local theatre or choir and be part of the community! Utilize your skills or learn new ones, forge new friendships, and continue to enrich the Gold Coast's cultural landscape for the next generation.
Here's who you can get involved with as of 17.04.2023:
Tugun Theatre Company Inc is currently seeking front of house volunteers for their season of Girls Night Out.
Front of house the roles available:
Ushers - help to set up tables and chairs, greet and welcome patrons as you guide them to their table. You will also be needed to help pack down tables and chairs at end of performance. (Would be appricate if you could be there early to help set up from 6pm)
Canteen attendants - serve tea and coffee, and handle any purchases of snacks.
Dates volunteers are needed:
Week 1: Thurs 11th 7.30 pm, Fri 12th 7.30 pm, Sat 13th 2.00 pm and 7.30 pm,
Sun 14th 7.00 pm
Week 2: Thur 18th 7.30 pm, Fri 19th 7.30 pm, Sat 20th 2.00 pm and 7.30 pm,
Week 3: Thur 25th 7.30 pm and Fri 26th 7.30 pm.
